Scope Note: The fairy-like creatures of the forests and mountain tops who are regarded as supernatural beings. They have light coloured skin and red or fair hair and are considered highly tapu. They can be heard talking, singing, and playing musical flutes as they are active at night time and when the mist is heavy enough to shield them from the light.
